Exchange & Refund Terms
1. Payment currency
All transactions are charged in US dollars (USD).
Any local-currency amount shown in parentheses on a product page is a reference conversion, not the contract amount. The actual charge is based on the USD amount, and the amount billed in your local currency may differ depending on the exchange rate and foreign transaction fee applied by your card issuer.
2. Order cancellation
You may cancel your order yourself at any time before the seller begins purchasing the item. Cancellation takes effect immediately, without seller approval.
Once the cancellation is complete, no payment is charged; if payment has already been charged, it is refunded in full.
After the seller has begun purchasing the item, the order can no longer be cancelled and can only proceed as a refund request once delivery is complete.
You can check whether cancellation is still available on your order page.
From the time the seller begins purchasing the item until delivery is complete, you cannot request either a cancellation or a refund. Once a purchase has been made overseas, reversing it can involve costs and procedures that exceed the value of the item, so due to the nature of our purchasing-agency service, we do not accept cancellations during this period. If an issue arises with the item during this time (for example, it becomes unavailable or the sale is cancelled by the seller), we will notify you separately as soon as we confirm it.
3. Refund requests
For delivered orders only, you may request a refund within a set period from the delivery date. The period depends on the product type and is shown on your order page.
A reason is required when requesting a refund, and only one request may be made per order.
A refund request is not settled on submission. The seller reviews the request before processing it, and the outcome is communicated on your order page and by email.
Once a refund is approved, we process it immediately. However, the time it takes for the funds to actually reach you depends on your payment method. For card payments, it may take longer depending on your card issuer's processing schedule.
Orders still in transit are not eligible for a refund request.
4. Exchange rate differences
Refunds are based on the USD amount charged at the time of payment.
Exchange rates may differ between the time of payment and the time of refund, so the amount you receive in your local currency may differ from what you paid. This difference is not an amount we receive or bear, and is therefore not eligible for compensation.
5. Card issuer fees
Foreign transaction fees charged by your card issuer or payment provider are not received by us and are generally not returned when a refund is issued.
Whether such fees apply and whether they are refunded is governed by your card issuer's policy, so please direct related enquiries to your card issuer.
6. Defective or incorrect items
If the item you received arrives damaged, or is different from what you ordered, we will provide an exchange or a refund. You will not be responsible for any costs involved.
Please let us know within 14 days of receiving the item so we can process this as quickly as possible. Please include photos of the item and its packaging to help us verify the issue.
Even after this period, you may still exercise your rights under applicable law. The 14-day period is a guideline for prompt processing, and your rights are not extinguished when it passes.
7. Change of mind
If there is nothing wrong with the item but you simply changed your mind, returns and exchanges are only available in a limited way, because of the cost and time involved in international return shipping.
Exchange — available if you cover the round-trip international shipping cost. This shipping cost is often higher than the price of the item, so we recommend checking the shipping cost before requesting an exchange.
Return and refund — we do not accept returns for change of mind.
This section applies only when the item has no defect. Damaged or incorrect items are covered by the previous section.
